For a delicious and budget-friendly meal, try this Grilled BBQ Chicken!


With only a handful of ingredients, you can create tender, smoky, and flavorful chicken in just 30 minutes.


Perfect for family dinners or summer cookouts, this recipe delivers all the savory goodness of barbecue chicken without the fuss, and all for under $10.


Ingredients


  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 1 lb)

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • (Optional) Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions


Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel, then season them with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.


Step 2

Brush the chicken thighs with olive oil, ensuring they are well-coated. Place the chicken thighs on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).


Step 3

During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the chicken generously with BBQ sauce on both sides, letting it caramelize slightly.


Step 4

Once the chicken is fully cooked and has a nice BBQ glaze, remove it from the grill. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.



Tips


  • For an extra smoky flavor, try grilling with the lid closed to trap the heat.

  • Want a spicy kick? Mix a bit of hot sauce into your BBQ sauce.
