This Quick and Easy Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Shrimp is your answer!
Ready in just 25 minutes with simple ingredients, this creamy, comforting dish combines the richness of Alfredo sauce with succulent grilled shrimp.
Perfect for busy weeknights when you need a fast, restaurant-quality meal.
Ingredients
8 ounces fettuccine pasta
12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
(Optional) Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, which takes about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Toss the shrimp in olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Step 3
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for 3-4 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
Step 4
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and continue cooking until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until it’s fully coated. Top with grilled shrimp and serve immediately.
Step 6
(Optional) Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch and sprinkle extra Parmesan if desired.
Tips
To save even more time, use pre-cooked shrimp and just warm them up on the grill.
You can swap out the shrimp for cooked chicken if you prefer.
