This Strawberry Mousse is a refreshing and light dessert that combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the creamy tang of yogurt.

It’s a perfect balance of flavors and a healthier choice for those who want a sweet treat without feeling too heavy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries (plus extra for garnish)

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (whipped)

  • Mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Strawberries

Wash and hull the strawberries. Blend them with the sugar and lemon juice in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds, if desired.

Step 2: Mix in the Yogurt

In a mixing bowl, fold the strawberry puree into the Greek yogurt, stirring until fully combined. Add the vanilla extract for extra flavor.

Step 3: Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry and yogurt mixture, ensuring a light and airy texture.

Step 4: Chill and Serve

Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up.

Step 5: Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish with extra fresh strawberry slices and mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Tips

  • For an extra indulgent touch, top with a drizzle of melted white chocolate.

  • You can swap out the Greek yogurt for flavored yogurt like vanilla or strawberry for added depth.
