This Creamy Berry Delight is a light, refreshing dessert that’s perfect for weddings, birthday parties, or any special occasion.

It combines velvety cream with the natural sweetness of fresh berries, creating a beautifully presented treat that’s both simple and indulgent.

The elegant layers make it a stunning addition to any dessert table or candy buffet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (optional for added texture and tang)

  • 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

  • 1/4 cup berry jam or preserves (optional for layering)

  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Whip the Cream

In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. If you’d like to add a bit of tartness, gently fold in the Greek yogurt at this stage for a creamier texture.

Step 2: Prepare the Berries

Rinse and pat dry the mixed berries. If using larger berries like strawberries, slice them into bite-sized pieces. Keep some whole for garnish.

Step 3: Layer the Dessert

In individual dessert cups or small glasses, layer the whipped cream and mixed berries. Start with a spoonful of whipped cream, followed by a layer of berries. If using jam or preserves, add a small layer between the cream and berries for extra sweetness. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the glass.

Step 4: Garnish and Chill

Top each dessert cup with a few whole berries and a sprig of fresh mint. Refrigerate the dessert cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the cream to set.

Tips

  • To add some crunch, sprinkle granola, crushed graham crackers, or toasted nuts between the layers.

  • For a colorful twist, use different berry combinations or even tropical fruits like kiwi or mango.

  • This dessert can also be made in advance—just assemble the layers and refrigerate until ready to serve.
